Letters From Private Clients: A Rage Against The Lies

Hi Kapil,

It’s been a few years now since we began working together.

What I feel now is a sense of calm. Sort of a recovery from the initial shock. Actually not so much shock, as anger.

You probably sensed it, in fact, I even told you about it several times, that after I began to learn Truth from you it was not peaceful but angering. I was angry. Maybe not quite sure who or what I was angry at. Maybe at myself.

But I was angry that I had spent all of these precious years, so many bloody years, believing things that turned out to be outright lies.

Who had lied to me. Everyone. Honestly, everyone.

Did they lie on purpose. I don’t know and don’t really care. But how could I spend my years living lies. Maybe I’m the one to blame for having believed them.

I take things personally. Not a good thing. But in my professional life I would never stand for such a thing. I would tease out lies instantly, which has helped me tremendously in my professional life.

But in my personal life, with my children, my family, and life in general . . . I lived for so many years operating according to “that which was not” as you say. I was working the machine from completely the wrong end. A total novice, stumbling every day. And it pains me to admit this so openly in this way.

How could I allow myself to live according to total and complete lies. And suffer so terribly as a result. How could I allow this to happen.

If this occurred in my professional life, I would tear everything apart to dispel all the lies. But in my personal life, I was duped. Duped by society. Duped by “the world” as you put it. Duped by the experts. Duped by the books and the media and the influencers and maybe even the teller.

During our telephone conversations in the first 5 or 6 or 7 months, every Truth you shared with me was like a dagger to the heart. It was not pleasing. At all. It was painful. And it created almost a fury in me. I didn’t quite let on. I kept a strong face because I didn’t want to appear as an idiot in front of you.

But I was in a quiet range. Sometimes not so quiet. My wife became angry at me for being angry.

As I said, I’m not sure who or what I was angry with. At society, “the world”, for duping me. Or at myself for having been duped. I thought myself to be more intelligent than that.

It has taken me every bit of these two years to learn how these lies became so believable to me (and actually to all human beings). And more importantly by what you meant by “the world.” I have more to learn. And I’m now in a place where the learning will create less anger and more realization. Which I am really and truly looking forward to.

There’s no point in even telling anyone about this. Because no one understands . . .

I can’t thank you enough for opening my eyes. I thought I was intelligent when we first began. I turned out to be stupid. But I am looking forward to being genuinely intelligent. By now having my eyes opened up. And now having seen the things you showed me, I’m shocked. They are so plain as day. How could I not have seen them. They were right there all along. I guess, how much can you really see if your eyes are closed 🙂

Because you don’t compromise on Truth, the pain was intense. And because you don’t compromise on Truth, the clarity I have achieved thus far is equally intense.

I look forward to many more years with you on this journey.

Lay it on me, sir.

I want all The Truths.

I want to see it all.

I may not always handle it well. But one thing is certain: there is nothing that is not worth having my eyes opened.

In the years of my life that I have left, I want to see clearly. And live in Truth.

No matter how painful. No matter how difficult.

Because I now know from personal experience, that once the pain and anger subside, the clarity that comes shining through is beyond anything I could ever have imagined.

Thank you for reading this, Kapil.

Look forward to speaking at the end of the week.

Sincerely,

LMH.
