Dead Ends

It will take lifetimes

To understand this.

Everything

Is a dead end.

For non-mechanical things,

Every concept one hears.

Every principle one tries to follow.

Every technique one employs.

Every philosophy one imbibes.

It is all

A dead end.

The human

Will not be deterred by this.

He will keep following

The concepts

And the techniques.

And the philosophies.

And the principles.

As stated earlier.

It will take lifetimes

To understand this.

The human

Cannot allow himself

To enter into the Truth

That nothing works.

The human

Cannot allow himself

To enter into the Truth

That no method,

No technique,

No philosophy,

No principle,

No concept,

Anywhere in the world

Will work.

The human

Cannot allow himself

To enter into the Truth

That every single one

Of the 18.6 million search results

From a search-engine inquiry

Are a dead end.

This leaves him feeling helpless

And alone.

It is simply . . .

Too much

To bear.

There are many Truths

That are simply . . .

Too much.

One may read all the books he wishes.

One may listen to all the guru’s and experts he likes.

One may try all the various meditations and yoga’s and breathworks he likes.

He will never,

Ever,

Ever

Arrive at what he has been longing for.

It is all

A dead end.

As disheartening as this may be.

As deflating as this may be.

As hopeless as this may be.

As unimaginable as this may be.

It is

The Truth.

It is

The Reality.

The world

Is simply . . . yapping.

Experts

Are spouting.

Books

Are wording.

Guru’s

Are lotus-ing.

All they can do

Is attempt to “help.”

Help one feel a bit better

For a brief moment in time.

Nothing in this world

Is for the Serious Man.

Nothing in this world

Is for the one who seeks to Actually

And Genuinely

And Practically

And Truly

GET SOMEWHERE

In this lifetime.

It is all

Entertainment.

Every drop,

Every millimeter,

Every fragment,

Of it.

It is all

Entertainment.

For the masses

Who seek . . .

Entertainment.

The one who seeks more

Than Entertainment

Is on his own.

There is nothing

In this world

For such a man.

But one may keep reading.

Keep practicing.

Keep philosophizing.

Keep meditating and mindfulness-ing.

Keep excuse-making.

He may keep carrying on

As he always has.

Never having Arrived

At ANYTHING

In his brief period of time

On Earth.

In the precious few years

Of life

He has been granted.

Namaste.
