The Circus Of Helpers

The podcast hosts,

The experts,

The speakers,

The whole lot of them . . .

These “helpers”

Go to their job each day

Trying to “help.”

As always,

There are many things

That humans are so completely brainwashed into,

The notion of questioning it

Has never dawned upon them.

Helping whom?

Helping them do what?

Helping them for how long?

Take the podcast host,

As an example.

He wakes in the morning,

Gets dressed,

Eats his breakfast,

And he is going somewhere.

He is going to the studio.

Whether the studio

Is in his home,

Or in a particular location in town,

This is where he is going.

He sets up the microphones,

Prepares what he needs to prepare.

Maybe some form of entertainments

And give-aways,

And marketing this and that

And so forth.

He is getting ready

To go on the air

And . . . “help.”

Fresh new meat

To shower his “help” upon.

He can’t wait

To say X, Y, and Z

Because of all the “help”

It is going to provide.

Those that tune in

Are in for a treat.

They are about to receive . . .

“Help.”

Bring your problems,

One and all,

For ye shall be “helped”

Today.

How wonderful.

How benevolent.

How fortunate these listeners are

To receive the “help”

They have been waiting for all their lives.

Their problems will soon be a thing of the past.

For they are about to “improve.”

They are about to be more this, and less that.

And the world will say to them,

“Wow, you are so much more this than that.”

To which the individual can reply,

“Thank you for noticing. It’s all because I listened to a helper on a podcast! Hooray!”

What would the people of the world do

Without these podcasts?

Their lives would be so bleak.

They would suffer so much more.

They would be beside themselves.

Thank goodness for all the “help”

That these podcast hosts are giving them.

The podcast hosts

Are so . . . “helpful.”

They tell jokes

To keep the people in good spirits.

They do give-aways and shenanigans

To keep people entertained.

Just have a listen,

And they will fix you right up.

You will be as good as new

In no time.

They are so kind

And “helpful.”

They tell the people what they should do,

And what their opinion is,

And how to live,

And what to practice,

And what to watch out for,

And A,

And B,

And C,

And D . . .

How wonderful.

How kind.

How gracious.

Just have a listen

And you will see.

Few wish to admit

Or to believe

That they are simply

Entertainers.

Those who wish to be entertainers

May be so.

But those who believe they are more

May examine the verity of this

If they so wish.

It is interesting

Is it not?

All of this “help.”

So many episodes of “help.”

So many “helpers” . . .

Yet all the listeners

Are still suffering in the same way

With the same problems

For all their lives.

Namaste.
